Upper Zambezi near the confluence of the Chobe River. Zambia.This unique tented camp is situated on the secluded Sekoma Island surrounded by a chain of islands forming the Mombova Rapids on the upper Zambezi River.
Accommodation is comfortable in private en-suite tents under the indigenous bush amongst Sekoma Island forest floor.
The Chobe and Zambezi river systems are a true watery wilderness, teaming with wildlife and a vast variety of fish species. It is an ideal place for the conventional fisher and fly fisher to target the numerous colourful bream species, catfish, pike and the elusive tiger fish.
Sekoma Island camp is affiliated to the more luxurious Chobe Savanna Lodge a mere 25 kilometres up the Chobe River from the island. Here you are looking over Chobe National Game Park teeming with wildlife, birds and floodplains of the Zambezi.
Fly to Kasane and do a boat transfer to the island or Chobe Savanna Lodge.
