Lungwebungu Lodge

THE LUNGWEBUNGU RIVER.

The Lunwebungu River flows east out of Angola, just north of The Liuwa Plains National Park in North Western Zambia.

The river merges with The Zambezi River close to the town of Lukulu and just north of The Barotse Flood Plains.

The fly-camp is a temporary set up with six comfortable bee-hive tents with comfortable beds and separate ablution areas with hot water and flushing toilets.

Evenings are spent sitting around the camp fire on the banks of the river with panoramic views over the vast flood plains.

The camp has several boats with experienced skippers to take you up river to fish undisturbed waters which only see fishermen for a couple of weeks a year.

Guests can fish down river to the renowned Barotse Plains where the tiger fishing is unparalleled on the Zambezi River.
