There are several activities available at Chikwenya including photography, game viewing and superb tiger and bream fishing. The lodge employs several experienced game rangers who drive or walk guests among the herds of buffalo, elephant and antelope with wild dog and lion frequently being sighted in the vicinity of the lodge.
 
There are five well equipped fishing boats with skippers who will guide you onto some of the best fishing waters the Zambezi has to offer.
 
Times to visit are from April until December with the better fishing times being the hotter summer months.
